The purpose of the Advisory council is to help guide the efforts of the Missouri CARES office through one of the specialty areas: data quality, clinical improvement, and community programming. The Advisory Council is responsible for prioritizing cardiac arrest care, designing, and implementing special projects that are consistent with CARES priorities, ensuring that the chain of survival is addressed within the emergency care spectrum, and developing policy recommendations pertaining to the improvement of outcomes resulting from cardiac arrest care.
